Thanks to all who participated in this special tribute to our armed forces who served in the Vietnam War.
On April 29 & 30th, 2017 the Englewood Area Historical Museum was proud to host a Vietnam War STATIC SCENE on the grounds of the museum at Buchan Airport.
These men tented with their tactical packs, told stories and answered visitors' questions. Artifacts and memorabilia were on display.
Free photos of Veterans were taken beside a 50th Anniversary Commemorative Flag and they also received their Commemorative Pins.
Your Historical Museum designated April, 2017: "VIETNAM WAR 50th ANNIVERSARY Commemorative month."
**Visitors spoke with Vietnam Veterans on weekends, 1:00 – 4:00 PM each Friday – Sunday throughout April**
**Artifacts and memorabilia were on display honoring those who served our country**
Our sincere thanks to Col. Jack McDermott, U.S. Army (Ret.) for all his help in setting up this special tribute!
The true use of history, whether civil or military, is not to make man clever for the next time; it is to make him wise forever.
